I wish playchess.com would offer such a download. It would be the best computer game database available. It works something like this. Take 10 people for example. They all have Shredder 9. These 10 people played 25 games each. Person1 = 2 X 2.8 Ghz Xeon, custom book, hash 512mb. plays any time control. The result of each game. Person2 = 4 X 2.0 Ghz Opteron, custom book, hash 512mb. plays 60+15's. The result of each game. Person3 = 1 X 1.8 Ghz Opteron, Shredder 8 book, hash 192 mb. Plays 5+0's. The results of each game. Person4 = 1 x 3.0 Ghz P4, Shredder 9 book, hash 128 mb. Play any time control The results of each game. Person5 = 1 x 3.4 Ghz P4, Fritz 7 book, hash 96 mb. Plays 15+0. The results of each game. Person6 = 1 x 2.4 Ghz Opteron, Fritz 8 book, hash 128 mb. Play any time control The results of each game. Person7 = 2 x 3.0 Ghz Xeon, Shredder 9 book, hash 192 mb. Play any time control The results of each game. Person8 = 2 x AMD2800, custom book, hash 64 mb. Plays only 3+0s The results of each game. Person9 = 1 X 900 P3, Shredder 9 book, hash 48 mb. Plays 5+3's. The results of each game. Person10 = 4 X 2.4 Ghz Opteron, custom book, hash 384 mb. Plays only 90+30's. The results of each game averaged into the total. example: 25 games have been played by each person. Person1 ELO = 2580 Person2 ELO = 2570 Person3 ELO = 2560 Person4 ELO = 2550 Person5 ELO = 2590 Person6 ELO = 2620 Person7 ELO = 2610 Person8 ELO = 2600 Person9 ELO = 2630 Person10 ELO = 2640 2550+2560+2570+2580+2590+2600+2610+2620+2630+2640 / 10 or the ELO RANGE average of the 250 games. ELO RANGE average = 2595 +/- 45. # Engine N Games ELO RANGE Avg. ELO RANGE 1. Shredder 9 250 2595 +/-45 2550-2640 This is only if 250 games allow by the playchess.com to get ELO RANGE or ELO RANGE Avg.
