Hello everyone, After speaking with 4 separate titled players from ICC, the general consensus is that the time control, and number of rounds would stop most from entering. Playing 9 games at 45 10 over two days would be extremely difficult, and the option of bye rounds for them was resoundingly turned down. There were some suggestions made as follows: 7 round swiss event 20 10 time control (total of 7 hours in one day) Single day event If such conditions were changed, they would more than likely enter the event as all of them liked the premise of the tournament. All are well known computer players on ICC, and _all_ were GrandMasters. I am absolutely sure if even two join out of the four, there would be other titled players like IM/WIM/FM players that would follow suit. My question is, does this sound reasonable? Would the computer accounts enter such an event? Peter
