The new time control is fine. Due to it being faster, it will be more difficult for humans to consult computers. This could bring more highly rated players in. I guess most of us are up for the fun of the tournament. The time control is almost irrelevant for authors and operators. Also, all of us like to chat with each other during the matches. Our brains are free to do so, but the GM's will have their minds in use. We must be considerate not to initiate chats with them while they are engaged in a match.
