Each year my family converges on my mother's home and stays over night for all the grandchildren to wake up together Christmas morning. The adults are usually up pretty late, usually until 2-3 AM having a good time. The kids _always_ russle everyone out of bed around 6-7 am depending on when my dad (After putting the turkey in at 5 am) is done making the reindeer footprints in the snow with a broom handle, and sleigh tracks using a 2x4 dragged by rope in the snow. He then uses an old bullhorn to wake up the neighbourhood by screaming "HO HO HO MERRY CHRISTMAS" and quickly slams the door and runs to the kitchen. Of course all this wakes up the kids, go nuts, and all the adults try to drag themselves out of bed. I am chipper as can be due to my normal sleeping habits. The only difference between my Dad and I is he went to bed at 9 pm the previous night (being old and all;)). Peter
