In my opinion Shredder 9 is a very interesting engine for analysing correspondance games because of the improved retro-analysis-functions. I do little analysing with Fritz 8 but I always prefered Hiarcs 9 before Shredder 9 came out. And now I (as a Hiarcs-fan) sometimes catch myself using Shredder 9 prior to analysing with Hiarcs 9 :-)) Just give it a try! Peter
