I'm running Fedora on one machine, but I don't recomand you to use it to other than tests. It seems it is in the very early state and the machine are mainly in use to download and install updates. I'm running Topolinux on another machine but have not used it too much to give any recommandation. The nice thing with it is that it is easy to install on a mashine running Windows. You can log into it direct from Windows or as a standalone. I would guess it isn't too good for chessengines with heavy discaccess (egtb) since it create its own filesystem in the windows space.
