Hi Pallav :-), yes, Charles does not have all the commercials, but now will order also Gandalf. His first tournament only counts for the combined CEGT and AEGT rating list. But for CEGT 2 started by Charles already tomorrow Christian, Charles and I will use exactly the same engine versions and settings and give a combined overall crosstable. Charles does not have Deep Sjeng and also does not own Patriot and Ktulu, so we took them out. Participants for CEGT 2 are (Christian still has to confirm): 1. Shredder 9 2. Junior 9.003 3. Fritz 8 Bilbao 4. Gandalf 6.0 5. Hiarcs 9 6. CMX Yoda 7. Chess Tiger 15.0 normal 8. Ruffian 2.1.0 9. List 5.12 10. Pro Deo 1.1 11. SOS 5 for Arena 12. Aristarch 4.50 13. Fruit 2.0 14. Delfi 4.5 15. Anaconda 2.0.1 16. Slow Chess Blitz WV So 13 engines are still the same in order to give 1000 games to each engine after CEGT 2 will be completed in a few months. Only for CM 10000 we will try another setting, although Steadfast is not really bad, there might be one setting that could be around 30 ELO stronger. After that we will have better comparisons which engines are stronger on Athlon or Pentium, and how many games we really need for stability in rankings, as the error bars in the Elo lists will shrink.
