Because then you could not know the current standing.

Every one has bad tournaments. Even Kasparov.

I DO NOT recognize him as the Classical WCC. He will NEVER give Kasparov

Why would he lose? Any evidence in favour of this argument? I can see only one,
but that is showing in the opposite direction: their match was won by Kramnyik.

Practically you are saying that the best method to determine the world champion
is by round robin tournaments. And this has not been the practice so far.
