thanks...yes maybe, anyway we will cover all Nunn positions and will also have a
comparison with books that give only short lines like 8moves.ctg.

The main reasons that we do not take own books is that we do not want to have
games where the engines only start to calculate after move 25 or 30 in already
late middle game or even endgame positions. We want to test the strength of the
engine itself, not the books.

I know there are other opinions from testers who prefer to see opening book and
engine as a whole and so the are using the own books that are in some cases
already adapted to certain opponents.

So all has advantages and disadvantages. Using predefined positions also allows
to give better statistics, for example tell which engines play better in open,
half open or closed positions relatively to others.
