Will run on P4's and Opteron processors, your mileage may vary... For perhaps the first time ever, standard 32 bit Crafty 19.19 has broken the 750Knps/Ghz barrier on a Win32 bit system in both single and double threaded mode(mt=2). These executables are faster than any Crafty 32 bit exe that I have tested for teh Opteron processor chip. Compiled with Visual Studio 2005 beta using profile optimizations -> all 1244 Crafty functions were profiled. Benchmark (standard bench with no crafty.rc file) ============================= Windows 2000 Crafty v19.19 (1 cpus) White(1): bench Running benchmark. . . (Note: This is standard crafty - perhaps later I will add some of the modify SE code later.) ================================================================ If you downlaod the file, please run the crafty benchmark and post your result here )replying to this message. Double click on the .exe - a little Dos looking window (Command Line Screen) shoudl pop up. type the word "bench" and hit return (that;s it). Please use NO crafty.rc file. Copy and paste your result here, listing processor brand model and speed (Mhz/Ghz) Thanks, Michael
