I believe that chessbase do not autoplay because of their results You can look at the result of Fritz5.32 They lost against Fritz5 in enrique's tournament 5.5:4.5(the result in the ssdf games is 2:2 I think that it proves that they even do not autoplay against their previous version. I think that they did a secret autopl;ayer because they did not like the idea other people will autoplay against them and not because they autoplay against other opponents Uri
