However, I wish people could stop making such accusations without providing proof or at least very strong evidence for their claims. If you don't have any strong evidence, it would be better to write that you _suspect_ the engine to be a clone and state that you will exclude the engine from your tournaments until the case has been more thoroughly examined, or to keep silent until you are 100% sure. Accusing a program of being a clone without even explaining which program it is supposed to be a clone of (Crafty and Fruit are, as has been pointed out elsewhere in the thread, entirely different engines) is in my opinion unacceptable.
