Ok wassup?? I created a book on chessbase products - Fritz 8 Junior 8 etc.. via the Allow Move Adding feature. I then select engines for a engine vs. engine tourney on my NEW Shredder 9. I follow menu to to have engines use thier own books but have Shredder 6 use my book and change the weight of my book's first move for white to 99 and have shredder 6 play white. Voila! In the tourney Shredder 6 with my book no makey the 99 weight first move!! sheeeeeeeeeesh! Am I doing SOMETHING wrong or is this chessbase's not so funny idea of negating this feature to prohibit people making books against thier program. (and yes I loaded the requisite files of CTG. and CTO. etc. to the correct path) HELP! Thanks, Alex (Handle on chessbase Nimzovik). P. S. will the program readjust the weights of my book just for fun when I reboot or WHATEVER to again protect thier precious programs from counter book-ing by us amateurs who REALLY just want to perfect thier OWN systems for thier OWN PERSONAL tournement use and --NOT-- - to attack thier program?
