Kasparov says that he will continue to play chess, he just won't play at the
competitive professional level. He has no interest whatsoever in the world chess
championships but he intends to occasionally take part in rapid play tournaments
and special invitational events. He has achieved everything he has aimed for in
professional chess and now wishes to concentrate on his writing and political
interests.
