yes i imagine he has made the occassional chartibale contribution over the
course of his long prosperous career

however for me,his breaking away from Fide to play his match WC match with
Short,which threw Fide into its current, long ,pathetic state of chaos ,was a
defining moment of the man

if someone waves enough money in front of him,believe you me,he will be playin

Kasparov is always very emotional after a loss

while he scored the same points as Topolov in Linares the last game clearly
dissapointed him

lets remember the Tirade he went into when he lost to Deep Blue
he accussed everyone in sight(including my aunt) of cheating

after his WC loss to Krammink he gave interviews "explaining" how he was in the
middle of a custody battle with his x-wife..etc.etc


mark my words..we have not seen the last of Mr.Kasparov's playing competitive
chess
