I purchased a Palm Zire 21 for $75. It does not have color and is about 3 times slower than your model but I get 6 to 7 hours of chess before recharging. I use it at my rural camp which has no electricity. When it gets low I bring the unit with me to a restaurant and let it charge for an hour or so while I eat and its good as new. The rating for Hiarcs on it is roughly 2400+ so I feel its ideal and a great deal. Mike Byrne purchased a color Palm (I forget the model)which might even be a better deal than mine but he never said how many hours he gets out of a charge.
