It can probably be fixed if you are running Windows XP. I don't know about other op systems. Also I'm not familiar with the standalone 1.2 demo. The code required depends on what is your operative .exe file. The following works with Shredder 9 UCI, which uses Shredder.exe as the operative. Modify according to whatever operative you have. Place a file named "shred.bat" in the Shredder 9 UCI folder. The contents of the file is one text line: start /belownormal Shredder.exe Make a shortcut to "shred.bat" for your desktop and use it to start the software. WP
