> >(make sure you include the wife -- she must be a saint) ;>) well like you have an understanding with your wife(she gets the new keyboard.mouse and screen while you get the new PC)my wife and i have duked out an understanding over the years... just as long as i turn off all the sounds and voices,she tolerates my computers i was once playing one of the Fidelity "Chesster" line of computers late at night and i had it on full voice mode.. she told me the next morning she had a terrible nightmare involving a robotic like voice taunting her.. at first i of course tried to act like i didnt know what on earth she was talking about ..but then i admitted it was the chess computer.. after talking her into bringing it back into the house after she hauled it into the garage to be trashed..i promised to from that day forward to turn off all beeps,clicks and voices btw..with your arrangement.. i imagine your wifes computer is what.. a 386 with no hard drive? i mean after all.. you got the new PC year after year with each upgrade right?? :)) Marital Bliss Regards Steve
