Ponti My opterons run at between 47-55 celsius - rock solid. Memory makes a difference, and that is also dependent upon the motherboard. e.g., MSI like certain brannds - Infineon, PQI - and does not like Corsair (a tier one brand, go figire). Most motherboard manufacturers list what brand memory has been tested. Also motherboard forums are good source to scout out what brand of memory people are using with specific motrherboards. And always use the exact same brand and part number for maximum stablity. Memory is a not generic - all brands are not equal.
