Do you have proof that this happened? What years did it happen? Who was
involved?

You try and indict the US government. Fischer broke the law, plain and simple.

Why spit on it? It is a legal document. A grand jury found grounds to indict and
they did so. He is a _criminal_. There is nothing more to it.

Be broke the law by entering into a contract to play chess in Yugoslavia. By
taking part in chess games there, he broke the law.

Fine by me. Try all you want to put them there. :)

One thing is for certain, even if Fischer is given permission to travel to
Iceland, he will have a slight detour into US air space. From there who knows
what might happen :)
