Reynolds, I expect that the GM will do some investigating of Hiarcs 7 games, although I will not play any games beforehand and make them available. Hiarcs 7 can lean positional knowledge based on prior games. You can expect that all of the Grandmaster's public games will have been analyzed by Hiarcs prior to the match. I will be using a G3 MAC running at 233 MHZ. This configuration is not absolutely the the state of the art in PCs but it should be operating at least as strongly as if it were a P2 300 MHZ plus machine. Hash tables can be set at 64 MEG with this software, the machine has 128 RAM. Thanks for the comments. Would you feel free to venture a guess as to the strength (FIDE elo) of this config? Sincerely, Matt Frank
