The bids will remain significantly below value until about 15 minutes before the end of the auction. This will rise to around 75% or so by 1 minute before the end of the auction, from bidding by some naive amateurs. Then, in the last half-minute, it will be taken off the board by a professional, someone with hundreds of purchases under his account. He'll bid whatever it takes (I suppose within face value). A few seconds later, all traces of the entire process will be removed from the system, with no chance for anyone to access it. The only people who will know what happened are those who were waiting there specifically at the last second. I must confess - after watching this, I felt like a moron for thinking that I actually might get a new CPU for 75% of the cost. :) Vas
