Both with own books.
256 Mb hash for Shredder
200 Mb hash for Gandalf
Shredder Classic GUI
40+10 (40 min for the whole game + 10 seconds per move incriment)
Book learn=on

1 Shredder 9 UCI   7.0 / 12 35.00 58.33%
2 Gandalf  6.0     5.0 / 12 35.00 41.67%

Still only one win for Gandalf, but this time less losses and a lot of draws.

I forgot to mention in my last post that both engines use both positional
learning and book learning.
