Go up one level in this thread

there is an art to asking questions without raising the sellers attention
your pretty good at it
must be your days as a CPA
:))

me,im not so subtle..i usually go in there like a bull in a China shop asking...
HEY IS THIS THE VERY RARE CC1????
:))

i downloaded the photo and zoomed in on it
the ranks and files are reversed which is the telltale sign of the CC1
you can clearly see the numbers across the bottom
therefore the manual will not mention the three levels as in the CC3

well Fidelity offered an upgrade to all existing CC1 owners to the CC3
when the units were returned the ranks and files(and of course the move input
notation) was corrected and there were 3 levels of play
Fidelity did not just modify cc1's to correct the reversal of ranks and files
the box for an upgraded CC3 will have a red sticker which says"THREE LEVELS OF
PLAY" which this box does not have
its a CC1 allright

add this to your "coy questions" list..

"when you press the CL key ..does the display change from 1 to 2 to 3??

(this is how you change the levels on the CC3)
:))

CC1-CC3 Regards
