Kg4 is correct technique, a move that Fischer should have made on move 40,
instead of h5?!

Spassky now played his sealed move Bd7?, instead of Kh3. Although Black is still
-+.

Spassky resigned.

The main line is now 41..Kg4! 42.Bc6..(to prevent a mating attack, with h4 and
h3+)42..h4! 43.Bf3+..Kxf5 44.Bc6..Kg4 45.Bf3+(to prevent 45..h3+)45..Kf4
46.Bc6..Rc2 followed by Rc6, which takes away control of the white squares
winning the game.46..Ke5 is also winning.
