Hehe - finally a position where Ikarus (V0.35b) does well (in fact, I used this
position in the past to test it, so that partially explains this...). On a
P4-2.4 GHz, 64 MB Hash, 5-piece TB:
18(35).01 00:00:02.3 +0.00 1. e6 Kg6 2. f5+ Kg7 3. Kf1 b5 4. Ke2 c4
5. Ke3 b4 6. Kd4 c3 7. bxc3 b3 8. Kd3 a5 9. c4 a4 10. c5
18(39).06 00:00:03.5 +0.29++ 1. f5! fxe5 2. h4 b6 3. Kf1 c4 4. Ke2 c3
5. bxc3 e4 6. Ke3 a5 7. Kf4 e3 8. Kxg3 a4 9. Kh3
18(39).06 00:00:04.0 +4.80 1. f5 fxe5 2. h4 b5 3. Kf1 c4 4. Ke2 b4
5. Kf3 Kxh4 6. f6 c3 7. bxc3 bxc3 8. Ke2 c2 9. Kd2 Kg5
-> 18(39).08 00:00:04.0 +4.80 1. f5 fxe5 2. h4 b5 3. Kf1 c4 4. Ke2 b4
5. Kf3 Kxh4 6. f6 c3 7. bxc3 bxc3 8. Ke2 c2
The score stays stable after that (actually goes up to +5 after about a minute).
