sure its emotional
consider the following scenario:

kqsierraplayer2 sees one bid for the opening price of $750
he thinks this will be easy to beat and so he very confidently and stifling back
a yawn..bids $775

he is not the lead bidder..

still amused he thinks..ok..no problem..somewhat bored by it all.. he bids $800

he is not the lead bidder

now a bit annoyed he thinks..ok ill go for a $50 bid and end this nonsense
so he bids $850

he is still not the lead bidder..

now a bit annoyed and fully awake he bids another 50..$900

he is still not the lead bidder

now very angry..he thinks..ok lets rock!

take this! click...$950
and this ! click $1000
he is still not the lead bidder

now totally fuming he bids utterly out of control

here! and here and here and here!!!

click click click click

$1200

he is still not the lead bidder

OH FOR GODS SAKE...I GIVE UP!!!

all in an hours time

a tad emotional i think

NEVER pays to get emotional over a chess computer
:))
