Subject: modified Crafty and mate -in30

Author: Mike Byrne

Date: 18:54:23 03/25/05

This position has long fascinated me and there are a few programs (perhaps even
more than a few ) that solved this mate-in-30.

The next version of modfied Crafty SE will also solve this neat position
quickly. Although I am not sure if it will play better chess. The secret here
is that there is 29 checks in a row follwed by mate.
