Sapphire RADEON 9800 PRO might fit the bill at just over $150.

Now if youa re looking for just a basic video card with tv/in/out, you could try
the Radeon 9200 128 bit,for about $40 - that the one I have.

Another consideration is that you need a card that is compatible with your
motherboard.  If you have an older motherboard, some of the newer cards may not
be compatible and vica versa (good news is that older video cards are chaeper>.

I am  not a gamer nor do I use programs that do a lot of rendering (I do not use
3d chess sets either) , so the $40 card above is fine for me.
