I watched the lecture and half way through Dennis revealed that it was indeed an April Fool's joke. He lectured about 2 games that both arrived at the same middlegame position, one that Fischer had played as white, and one that was played many years later that Karpov had played as black. It certainly was interesting to see how the two players approached the position differently. But there was no actual game between the two (publicly available that is).
