Only the tatered box as it was so thin and cheaply made says it has seen use...but it has for the most part been stored, as I bought a Novag Forte "C" which I enjoyed a bit more due to features, durability, plays the pawns against the King when casteled on opposite wings..the Mach III was weak in this dept. and the Novag "C" was a fair bit weaker in the endgame. Terry I'd say mint, but mint to me unused.
