Did you try to query updates from the menu?
Based on the message here I asked my son to upgrade his version and he got one
through the menu option via Playchess.com as documented in the manual.

As a sided note, he had of course lost his username/password for his first
registration but Chessbase was helpful and did fix this the first workday after
his request. The few time i have had problem with any Chessbase product I always
have got help very soon (always next workinday) so I can't really understand
these 'never heard from Chessbase thing'. That they don't put it on the net for
direct download is probably for making it harder for copyists.
