Of course, Kasparov can't beat Junior or Fritz, so he might not have much of a chance against Hydra. Need to structure the incentives to reward winning instead of just paying him to play, whatever the result. $1,000,000 for a win $750,000 for a draw $500,000 for a loss Try to get some real effort and talent out of him. On the other hand, if Kasparov loses to Hydra, then he was probably 2nd to Deep Blue. Roger
