You yourself say that Leko did not play well in Linares and then put him above
Anand.
Both played badly.
Anand was 2nd till the last round when he lost to Adams whom he had beaten
earlier in Corus. So what? even Kasparov lost to Topalov so is he also worse
than Leko? . Atleast Anand had a chance to fight for title against Kasparov Leko
had no such chance. Really speaking it was not such a poor performance from
Anand in both the tournaments and if u calculate properly he win gain some elo
points and not lose some.
