All I can say is: 1) An IBM mainframe or a common PC in blitz mode is stronger than everyone (including you, hence, your days were numbered a long time ago) and 2) Kaparov makes more money than any commercial chess program, hence, he is doing something right. 3) Tactics and strategy are practically the same thing in chess. A 30 move strategic move is in reality a 30 move tactical move, with the exception that the player does not perceive the outcome ahead of time (i.e. he's guestimating). KarinsDad :)
