Go up one level in this thread

maybe they are using reversed magnetic polarity.

i just now tested the Blitz again with a wide array of computer pieces(all
different then when i first tested a few years ago):
Fidelity Super 9 Deluxe pieces
Mephisto Executive board pieces
Mephisto Modular board pieces
CXG 3008 Pieces
Saitek Risc 2500 Pieces
Karpov 2294 pieces
Scisys Mark VI Sensor board pieces
even a pawn from the Applied Concepts TSV IV La Regence

none of them will work on the Blitz board

the 2294 pieces usually dont work on any other computer i have tried so perhaps
these are reverse magnetic, but there is something other then the polarity in the
Blitz pieces and board that requires the use of these pieces alone

i remembered when i opened my Blitz box that i have two sets of pieces
1 full set and one incomplete set of 30 pieces

perhaps i should contact the seller of the auction and offer him one black pawn
for 50% of the winning auction price?
:))

Ruthless Regards
Steve
