Hi Steve, I tried it again. Alas, the SB30 doesn't recognize the SB20-pieces at all. The other way round it works, sort of: For the SB20 all SB30-pieces are rooks. Minor pieces (pawns, knight, bishops) are black rooks, the rest are all white rooks. You can imagine my confusion when I put in a new position starting with a black rook and the R30 showing a white one... *lol* Rook Regards, Martin On April 05, 2005 at 09:53:11, Martin Slowik wrote: >Hi Steve, > >On April 05, 2005 at 07:50:03, Steve B wrote: > >>Hi Martin >>its true that the Tasc board and pieces can be a bit tricky >>but different pieces will work on different boards >> >>i have 4 Tasc boards and the pieces(2 SB20'S and 2 SB30'S) >>all of the pieces can be used in three of the boards while only one set can be >>used on one board(an SB20) > >Ah, so it's not consistent. > >> i think chances are that one of these piece sets will work with a buyers >>already existing board > >You tested more boards than I did.
