Only if you don't tell my wife I am sposoring a GM match! :-} Okay, assuming that you are running Hiarcs with 128 KB hashatables on your machine (450 MHZ) then I would estimate that your config should be operating at about 2597 FIDE elo. What are the time limits that you are playing your postal GM at? If they are anyware like normal time limits (i.e., 40/2hrs) or faster, active chess, or blitz chess, your friend better have a 2550 + FIDE elo under normal time limits to expect to survive the monster's onslaught!!!
