Hi Jorge,

alone, this tournament means little. If these settings played a series of games
against each other using a Nunn set for example, I'm certain that the standings
would be markedly different from those here. Also, Ray's extensive testing of
selected CM9000 settings against other engines will provide a better guide. This
tournament is of limited value when put into this context, but it's something I
wanted to run and I know for sure that a lot of others were keen to see it
happen also. One thing is for sure, ALL of these settings perform better than
Default when the bigger picture is taken into account! When Ray has finished
putting Default through 40 game matches at 40 moves in 40 minutes against the 7
other engines, you will see this quite clearly.
