Hi Alan

I got one a few months ago. powered it once just to make sure it is working. Did
not even unpack the pieces.

It is a nicely finished unit the squares are 4cmx4cm. good if the desk space is
limited.

I do not know about the playing style but the strength should be comparable to
the Renaissance/Leonardo board with the Kasparov brute force module.

the display on the senator module is kind of limited you can only see one kind
of info at a time. and in order to see the module info display, you have to pull
the module section towards you which takes some geting used to.

I bought one because I wanted to have one before they stop making them.

It looks like it will stay as new in its box for a long time since I still like
to use the Renaissance board.
