Steve, You have been watching eBay auctions for chess computers for several years, at least. Have you seen many where strange bidding goes on? I don't mean overbidding, like on an Eyeball a few months ago :-O, but weird stuff like this Tasc auction. I have followed other areas of interest on eBay for quite some time, and once in awhile will see something similar to this from a newbie. Usually, though, the newbie will eventually gain the top bid, and then a battle will ensue. This one is very strange, since there was a very high bid placed early in the auction. The newbie finally gave up before gaining the top bid. And I have never seen one person bid so many times in a row. Dick Schneiders
