Go up one level in this thread

>It could be a shill bidder as the bidding stops as soon as the increment of $20
>a bid ends. The bidder can safely do this as there is still another bid by the
>German bidder but now he is sure to sell high.

while all of the possibilities discussed in this thread are certianly plausable
i subscribe to this one the most

it just has my antennae up
having fun with an auction is one thing,,but over 60 bids??
if i were the lead bidder i would rescind my bid right now and alert Ebay
even though i might have put in a large max(which is never a good idea so many
days before) this is simply abnormal
ok,if i was bid up in the closing seconds, well thats life, but to be bid up like
this,,days before the auction ends, and by a bidder with no feedback and just
registered the same day as the bidding?
i dont think so..

Best
Steve
