Subject: Question about Nodes per Second - CM5000 vs CM6000

Greetings,
I'm a little confused about something. I just upgraded my system to a PII 350
and noticed that CM5000 burns along at about 40K nodes per second while CM6000
hits about 25k nodes per second.

Can 6000 still play stronger running through so fewer positions? I assume it has
greater chess knowledge and thus runs slower but smarter. Can I have some
comments on this?
