hi Alain
while i dont own the XL i do have the Dallas modules
personally i never really was satisfied with the Dallas upgrade
i had the Amsterdam modules but i rushed to pay for the upgrade
in those days(1986) the module was brought to the place you bought them from and
they would switch out the old Eprom and replace it with the new program

it cost me $300 just for the eprom to be replaced and i did not think the Dallas
program was sufficiently strong enough to warrant the cost of the upgrade
