Hi Alan

I have the RS232 serial adapter for the Renaissance. but so far I am not able to
comunicate it with any of the PC programs. All I can do is, to display moves and
the thinking of the Renaissance on the PC using a old terminal program. and can
print my moves and so on. I can also issue commands to the renaissance from my
PC. I can type for example e2 e4 and it will do the move but only if the chess
board is disabled. so two way comunication is not possible while the board is
on.

it is too bad Seitek abandoned a perfect modular board like the Renaissance.

best regards
