Bxd6 ++ And the reason they won't play either of those lines is because they both lose immediately, as you note above. 1...Qg1+ 2.Kxg1 g4 3.Be7+ Kg3 4.hxg4 allows Black to play on, and mate will be in about 25 moves.... jm
