Subject: Playchess.com : Server down error but server is up

I have used playchess.com for many months now without incident. Suddenly, on one
of my computers, when I launch Shredder 8 (the GUI I use for talking to
playchess.com) and tell it to log on by clicking on the Playchess.com link, it
tries, but eventually comes back with "server down".

I uninstalled S8 and reinstalled.  No effect.

Any suggestions?  Other computers can log in using the same account, so it's not
that my account is somehow hosed.
