As far as I know, the architecture of the chip is the exact same, there just happens to be 2 of them on the single silicon. Engines wouldn't have to be rewritten to work, per se, but non-threaded engines would have to be rewritten to be threaded to take advantage of the extra horsepower in one of those chips. Pete
