This is the Quark 2.55.eng file that Shredder 9 UCI created: [ENGINE] Name=Quark 2.55 Author=Thomas Mayer Filename=C:\Sakk\Shredder 9 UCI\wb2uci.exe [OPTIONS] LoadEngine=C:\Sakk\WinBoard\Engines\Quark\Quark_255.exe ShowStats=0 SendToEngine= Looks like it is quite different from yours. But the problem is not this. Installed under SC as a WB engine, it works all right. Gábor
