Has anybody done any study in this subject, please help Hello Luis, I can only say for me personally the CM ratings are a good indication of what class you would be in (USCF). I believe you must play at least 5 different personalities to get a reasonably accurate rating. Some personalities will be easier for you to beat than others. So don't just play one personality. Play the one close to what you think your rating is and play a couple on both sides of that rating. Jim Walker
